UBA Holds Online Event on Challenges of Civil Service in the Context of European Integration
On December 18, 2025, the UBA State & Government Officers Section held an online event entitled “Civil Service in the Context of European Integration: Challenges, Expectations, Prospects,” bringing together civil servants and experts interested in the transformation of public service in the context of Ukraine's European integration.
The purpose of the event was to facilitate an open discussion of the current challenges facing the civil service in the course of the European integration processes, as well as to identify areas for its further development and modernization. Participants had the opportunity to better understand both current and future changes, as well as to form realistic expectations of the European integration process.
The discussion was moderated by Eleonora Beley, Chair of the UBA State & Government Officers Section, who outlined the key issues on the agenda and ensured active interaction between the speaker and participants.
The speaker at the event was Nataliia Krinska-Sharai, Director of the General Department for Remuneration Policy and Functional Development of the Civil Service at the National Agency for Civil Service. In her speech, she focused on changes in approaches to remuneration, functional development of the civil service, and the requirements facing civil servants in the context of approaching European Union standards.
The event provided participants with the opportunity to ask questions, share their views, and engage in a professional discussion on the prospects for the development of Ukraine’s civil service in the context of European integration.
