Lawyers' requests to employers, career "success" indicators, employers' expectations from job seekers, personnel shortage — these and other issues were discussed by the participants of the online event of the Ukrainian Bar Association "The "ideal" employer through the eyes of a lawyer, and how you can find them via the UBA Information Hub", which took place on August 18, 2023.

Iryna Nikitina, strategic advisor of legal partnerships, ideologist and researcher of LegalTalents.Report, was the moderator of the event. The following joined the discussion:

• Anna Babych, Executive Partner at AEQUO, Member of the UBA Board;
• Oksana Daskaliuk, Senior Legal Counsel at Fintech Farm;
• Iryna Kobets, Counsel, Head of Dispute Resolution at LCF Law Group;
• Natalia Lysa, General Counsel & Compliance Officer of Nestlé Ukraine and Moldova.

In addition, an IT tool developed by the UBA, the Information Hub, was presented at the event. This tool is aimed at facilitating access of Ukrainian lawyers to foreign law firms, legal associations, and civil society organizations in search for current vacancies, internship and training opportunities. The hub is expected to establish a direct connection between foreign/international legal practitioners and their colleagues in Ukraine, which will facilitate the exchange of information, best standards and practices.
