An exclusive opportunity for young scholars! Participate in the CCU contest for the best academic article
The Constitutional Court of Ukraine has announced a contest for the best academic article on the protection of human rights and freedoms. Students, postgraduates, adjuncts, and doctoral candidates are invited to participate.
“This is a unique chance to showcase your academic potential, share your approaches and ideas on the topic, and make your research accessible to a wide audience,” highlight the contest organizers.
Unpublished articles, along with an application and a review, must be sent to inbox@ccu.gov.ua (marked “For the Contest”) by June 1, 2025.
Submissions will be evaluated by the jury based on the following criteria:
- relevance;
- scientific innovation and justification;
- independence of conclusions, judgments, and proposals;
- originality, coherence, and logical structure.
The results will be announced on June 28, 2025, during the celebratory events dedicated to Ukraine's Constitution Day.
The winning article will be published in the official journal, “Herald of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine”.

Note: The contest jury includes Constitutional Court judges, scholars, and public figures. Among the members is Dmytro Yevdokymov, Chair of the UBA Committee on Constitutional, Administrative Law, and Human Rights, and National Advisor to the Geneva Centre for the Democratic Control of Armed Forces.
