UBA and IBA launch the global survey "50:50 by 2030" for gender equality in the legal sector

The Ukrainian Bar Association, in strategic partnership with the International Bar Association (IBA), announces the launch of a progressive project to research and address gender equality in the legal sector.

The "50:50 by 2030" survey is part of a global initiative launched by the IBA with the support of the LexisNexis Rule of Law Foundation. This nine-year project aims to identify the root causes of gender inequality at all levels of the legal profession, from private practice to the judiciary.

The main goal of the survey is to understand the impact of diversity initiatives on gender equality and to provide practical recommendations for overcoming this inequality. The survey will analyze various aspects of professional life, from working conditions to career opportunities, with a focus on the participation of women in key positions.

This cooperation between the Ukrainian Bar Association and the IBA is a step towards creating a fairer and more equal legal environment.
