New leaders in three UBA sections: decision of the board

The Board of the Ukrainian Bar Association has decided to temporarily delegate the powers of the chairs in three UBA sections. This decision became necessary due to the election of the current chairs to the UBA Board, which, under the Regulations on Sections, is incompatible with serving as a section chair.

Based on internal discussions within the sections and upon the recommendations of the respective councils, the Board approved new deputy chairs who will perform the duties until the next elections, scheduled for the first half of 2026.

Acting Chair of the UBA Section of Attorneys, Law Firm Lawyers, and Self-Employed Lawyers has been appointed Yevhen Hrushovets, Partner at Ario Law Firm.

The duties of the Chair of the UBA Section of Enforcement Officers will be performed by Zorian Makovetskyi, private enforcement officer of the Lviv Region Enforcement District, member of the Disciplinary Commission of Private Enforcement Officers of Ukraine under the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine, and secretary of the Council of Private Enforcement Officers of this district.

The duties of the Chair of the UBA Section of In-House Counsel will be carried out by Daria Dashenkova, Business Partner for Legal Affairs at PJSC MHP.

All appointments were unanimously supported by the members of the UBA Board.

The Ukrainian Bar Association thanks the outgoing section chairs for their active work and congratulates the newly appointed colleagues. We wish them productive work and success in implementing professional initiatives within the framework of the sections’ activities.
