ELI publishes principles on third party funding of litigation (TPFL)

The Ukraine Bar Association, as an active member of ELI, informs about approved the ELI Principles Governing the Third Party Funding of Litigation. A draft is now available for free download here. The edited and layouted version will be soon available on the ELI website.

These comprehensive Principles aim at providing essential guidance for litigants, funders, legal advisors, and regulatory bodies involved in TPFL agreements. Developed in response to the rapidly expanding global TPFL market, the Principles seek to enhance transparency, fairness, and accessibility in litigation funding.

We once again wish to congratulate Dame Sara Cockerill, Judge of the High Court of England and Wales, Judge in Charge of the Commercial Court 2020–2022 and Prof Dr Susanne Augenhofer, Professor, Universität Innsbruck, Visiting professor and Senior Research Scholar in Law, Yale Law School, who led the ELI team and to thank all that contributed to this important work.
