The Ukrainian Bar Association urged the International Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the New York Bar Association to discontinue membership of all Russian lawyers in these associations.

The UBA is convinced that lawyers who must serve the rule of law and protect human rights violate their oath and betray their values when they encourage or turn a blind eye to atrocities, injustice and war crimes committed by their government.
