The Ukrainian Bar Association, thanks to the efforts of its members and the entire legal community, continues to help lawyers who are defending our country from the Russian invasion or who find themselves in difficult life circumstances due to the full-scale war.

This year, our support was felt by many Ukrainian lawyers — both those who donned the uniform and those who continue their professional activities in civilian life.

In particular, the UBA supported the charitable initiative of VB PARTNERS, the General Partner of the Association, to purchase first aid kits for lawyers who are currently defending Ukraine in the ranks of the Defense Forces. Together we raised about 77,000 UAH. The first aid kits purchased for this amount were transferred to the units where lawyers serve:

• Artem Kryvtsov, Member of the Board of the UBA Mykolaiv Regional Branch;
• Oleksandr Kadievskyi, Head of the UBA Donetsk Regional Branch in 2019-2020;
• Ruslan Dmytrenko;
• Aliona Svystunova.

The Ukrainian Bar Association is grateful to VB PARTNERS for initiating the collection and making a financial contribution to it, as well as to all those who joined the initiative. We express special gratitude to the New York State Bar Association (NYSBA), thanks to whose support we raised funds for the purchase of these first aid kits.
