Inna Liniova, Executive Director of the Ukrainian Bar Association, on behalf of the UBA received from the President of the Association of Lawyers of Madrid (Colegio de Abogados de Madrid) José Maria Alonso the award for active work in assisting Ukrainian lawyers who suffered from the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine.

Monika Całkiewicz, President of the Warsaw Bar Association, also received this award for helping Ukrainians forcibly relocated to Poland. The NGO ACCEM and its legal service coordinator Francisco Rojo received the award for assisting all Ukrainian refugees in Madrid and for the exceptional management of the Pozuelo refugee center. Attorney Clifford Hendel was awarded for developing the relationship between the Madrid Bar Association and the legal community of the United States of America.

The international awarding ceremony took place during the conference dedicated to the 425th anniversary of the Madrid Bar Association.
