Improvement of Procedural Rules: Part 2

The UBA Committee on Procedural Law invites you to take part in the event “Improvement of Procedural Rules: Part 2”, which will be held on March 27, 2025 in Kyiv.
At the XII UBA Judicial Forum (December 6, 2024), the Concept of Improving Court Procedures was presented.
The Council of the UBA Committee on Procedural Law has planned a series of events to discuss certain sections of the Concept and develop legislative proposals.
This is the second event in the planned series. We will announce the next ones soon.
In the focus of the event:
1. Return of the statement of claim (appeal and cassation).
2. Transfer of cases to the appropriate jurisdiction in case of closure of the proceedings.
3. Renewal and extension of procedural terms.
4. Determining the time limits for filing statements on the merits of the dispute.
5. Dismissal of a claim at the stage of appellate review.
6. Grounds and terms for recusal of judges.
7. Confirmation of the powers of a lawyer.
8. Consideration of cases by video conference.
