The Ukrainian Bar Association (UBA) invites you to take part in a Seminar “Career of a Lawyer in the Netherlands”, organized by the UBA Commission in the Netherlands in partnership with Palyanytsia HUB of the Miracle Lives Charitable Foundation.

The event will focus on building a legal career in the Netherlands, exploring the specifics of the local labor market, professional culture, and effective job search strategies.

Program

• The Dutch legal market: key players, major sectors, professional culture, and career development strategies.

• CV, LinkedIn, and networking: how to adapt your CV to Dutch standards, optimize your professional profile, and build a meaningful network (including a live CV review).

• Job interviews and contract negotiations: common mistakes, how to answer difficult questions (including about salary), and key terms to secure in an offer or employment contract.

Speakers

• Olha Prokopovych, Head of the UBA Commission in the Netherlands, in-house counsel (8.5 years in the Netherlands, over 25 years in international law). Areas of expertise: compliance, GDPR, sanctions, commercial contracts, and M&A. Education: Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv (LL.M), University of Missouri (MPA/Policy), Leiden University (LL.M in Law & Digital Technologies). Recognized by The Legal 500 (Benelux).

• Natacha Constantin, international consultant on career development and legal recruitment. Specializes in structured job search across the EU, professional positioning, effective use of online platforms, and network building.
